69. Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy
69.1. This policy sets out Architecture North Ltd’s commitment to conducting all business in an honest and ethical manner, and to comply with the Bribery Act 2010 and all applicable anti-corruption laws. The Company has a zero-tolerance approach to bribery and corruption in any form.

69.2. This policy applies to all employees, contractors, consultants, interns, agency staff and any third parties representing or acting on behalf of the Company.
69.3. Definitions.
69.3.1. Bribery: Offering, giving, receiving, or soliciting something of value to improperly influence the actions of another person.
69.3.2. Corruption: Abuse of entrusted power for personal gain.
69.3.3. Bribes may include cash, gifts, hospitality, services, favours, or anything else of value offered to secure an improper advantage.
69.4. You must not:
69.4.1. Offer, promise, give, request, or accept bribes.
69.4.2. Authorise any such activity by another person on the Company’s behalf.
69.4.3. Facilitate payments (small unofficial payments) to speed up routine processes.
69.4.4. Ignore or fail to report signs of bribery or corruption.
69.5. Modest, reasonable, and infrequent gifts or hospitality may be allowed if they are clearly not intended to improperly influence business decisions.
69.5.1. All gifts and hospitality must be declared to your line manager.
69.6. Political donations are prohibited.
69.7. Charitable contributions must be approved by senior management and must not be used as a disguise for bribery.
69.8. All employees must read, understand, and comply with this policy.
69.8.1. Managers must lead by example and ensure their teams are aware of and follow the rules.
69.8.2. Management is responsible for maintaining this policy and providing guidance.
69.9. If you suspect or become aware of any form of bribery or corruption, report it immediately to your line manager.
69.9.1. Retaliation against individuals who report in good faith is strictly prohibited.
69.10. Any breach of this policy will be treated as a disciplinary matter, which may result in dismissal for gross misconduct.
69.10.1. Serious cases may be reported to law enforcement authorities, which could result in fines or imprisonment.
