83. First Week Start Time Policy
83.1. This policy sets out the standard working hours and onboarding procedures for new employees during their first week at Architecture North Ltd.
83.1.1. t ensures a structured, consistent, and well-supported start to employment, including the issue of company equipment and orientation into the studio’s working practices.
83.2. First Working Day
83.2.1. On your first working day, your official start time is 10:00 a.m.
83.2.2. This later start allows time for management to prepare your workstation, confirm your access details, and issue company equipment.
83.2.3. During your first day, you will:
83.2.4. Receive your company laptop and other necessary equipment.
83.2.5. Receive an introduction to company policies, workflows, and team members.
83.3. Second Working Day
83.3.1. From your second working day, your standard start time will be 9:00 a.m., unless otherwise agreed with management.
83.3.2. Employees are expected to arrive punctually and be ready to begin work at 9:00 a.m.
83.3.3. Normal working hours and attendance policies apply from this day forward.
83.4. Equipment Issue and Acknowledgement
83.4.1. All company equipment will be documented and issued to the employee on the first working day.
83.4.2. The employee must sign the Company Equipment Sign Out Form to confirm receipt and understanding of the Company’s Property Policy.
83.4.3. Any issues or missing items must be reported immediately to management.
83.5. Responsibilities
83.5.1. Employees must attend at the scheduled times, complete induction tasks, and take responsibility for issued equipment.
83.5.2. Management must ensure all necessary equipment, accounts, and documentation are prepared and ready for the employee’s start.
83.6. This policy will be reviewed annually or as required to ensure effective onboarding practices are maintained.
