This bespoke new-build home, designed by Architecture North Ltd, was created to provide a modern, spacious, and highly functional living environment tailored to the client’s lifestyle and long-term needs. From the outset, the vision was to deliver a contemporary home that combines clean architectural lines with warmth, character, and liveability.

A key focus of the design was the careful use of natural light and open-plan living to establish a strong sense of connection between internal spaces and the surrounding landscape. Generous glazing, considered orientation, and an emphasis on flow between rooms help to create a bright and welcoming atmosphere throughout the home.

Energy efficiency and long-term performance were central to the brief, with the specification including high levels of insulation, modern building fabric strategies, and the integration of low-energy technologies. Internally, the layout was carefully planned to support modern family life, combining open social areas with quieter, private spaces and dedicated utility zones.
