🔨 Project Story
This project focused on rethinking the ground floor to meet the needs of a growing family. A key addition was the front porch extension, which now acts as a practical transitional space for coats, shoes, and everyday items, keeping the home organised and clutter-free.
The original staircase dominated the hallway, restricting movement. By reconfiguring the stairs, we opened up the floor plan and created a smoother flow throughout the ground floor.
The heart of the home now features a spacious open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area, designed to encourage family interaction and flexibility. Full-height glazed doors bring in natural light and extend the living space outdoors, connecting the interiors to the garden seamlessly.
Additional improvements included a walk-in pantry, generous utility space, home office, and reimagined WC, enhancing both functionality and comfort. Every detail was considered to support modern family life with flexibility, warmth, and long-term usability.
