🔨 Project Story
This project was all about transforming a traditional dwelling into a modern countryside retreat. By connecting the existing house with a barn structure, we created a home that feels open, bright, and connected to its surroundings while maintaining a sense of warmth and privacy.
The design celebrates Fiskerton’s rural setting with a sunken garden that offers privacy and seclusion. At its centre is a stylishly integrated hot tub, allowing the outdoors to be enjoyed throughout the year.
Inside, the heart of the home is a spacious open-plan kitchen, living, and family area, framed by large glazing to maximise daylight and capture the surrounding views. With four bedrooms, including a master suite, plus a family bathroom, utility, guest WC, and a versatile room that can serve as a playroom or office, the house combines elegance with everyday practicality.
