Project Story
This project is all about creating a future-proofed family home. The existing property was reconfigured and extended to provide spaces that are practical, flexible, and filled with natural light.
On the ground floor, we opened up the layout to form a larger kitchen and dining space, connected directly to the garden with wide views and easy access. This space is now the heart of the home, ideal for socialising and everyday family life. A reconfigured lounge also made way for a utility room, WC, and a new internal link to the garage, making the home far more practical and coherent.
Upstairs, we added a spacious new master bedroom with en-suite, giving the parents a private retreat. The family bathroom was also redesigned to serve the household more effectively. The result is a home that balances openness with comfort, tailored to the lifestyle of a growing family.
By using SIPs timber construction, the project achieves high levels of energy efficiency and airtightness, ensuring the home performs well not only today but long into the future.
